Just received the exciting news that, through Iams Home 4 the Holidays program, 621,034 pets have now been adopted since October 1st, putting them on track to achieve the goal of placing 1.5 MILLION orphaned pets into forever homes by January 4th!

As you get busier this holiday season, remember you can also help out pets in need:

    - If you’re planning on bringing a new pet into the home, consider checking out pets at your local shelter or breed rescue organization.
    - Attend fundraisers at your local shelter. At this time of year, our shelter has Breakfast with Santa, evening play events, and special shopping treats that are fun, festive, and help the shelter animals.
    - Make a donation to your shelter.
    - Help out a neighbor by walking his or her dog. During cold and flu season, when you’re taking tubs of healing chicken soup to your neighbors or helping to shovel your elderly neighbor’s walk, offer to take Fido for a walk. Fido will appreciate the fresh air and exercise and your neighbor will be happy to know that Fido’s needs are also being met.

So spread the cheer this holiday season to human and canines alike! untitled1
