UPMC Therapy Dog Study in the News

A few weeks ago, I attended the World Institute of Pain meeting in Miami, FL, that brought together pain researchers and clinicians from across the globe to share the latest advances in pain management. At this meeting, I presented data from a study we conducted that evaluated the impact of adding a therapy dog to an outpatient doctor’s waiting room. These results were picked up by Medscape, an online resource that brings all the latest and best across medical fields to physicians.

Check out the Medscape report of our UPMC therapy dog study. Then watch this video to see my therapy dog in action.
